The Perrier Planning Pride Box Release

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH ♡
As we enter into our third month of quarantine, and Pride Month, there is a lot of political tension in the air. The constants in our life have disappeared altogether and day after day all we face is change. Yet as we so readily focus on the unknown with skepticism, we cannot forget who we are and what we stand for.
Here at Perrier Planning we want to celebrate equality, acceptance and love. These are human rights we are talking about. Love is love, no matter what.
We created the Pride Box to help the people of Toronto & the GTA celebrate Pride Month from home since all the pride parades are occurring virtually this year.
We will be donating $5.00 of the proceeds from each box to Rainbow Railroad – an organization that helps save LGBTQ+ people from violence and persecution.
The Pride Box is filled with eco-friendly goodies from small businesses across Canada.

- Pom Pom Rainbow Garland by MaeBerryDecor (made in Calgary, Alberta)
- LOHN Candle – Scents of Musk, Jasmine & Coconut (100% natural, made in Toronto)
- Jomo Studio Plant – small succulent (grown in Toronto)
- Multicolour Tie Dye Scrunchie – made by LeesAndAlex (mix of multiple colours, made in Toronto)
- Rainbow or Unicorn Squish Gummies – vegan (made in Quebec)
- A surprise alcoholic gift (made in Niagara, Ontario)

How is the box eco-friendly?
In a perfect world this box would have been 100% plastic free, but due to COVID-19 it was hard for many small businesses to get eco friendly supplies.
Here is how we did manage to limit our waste and stay eco-friendly:
- The white boxes are made from 100% post-consumer recycled cardboard.
- The bath bombs are made with natural phthalate free fragrances and essential oils for scent and organic oils and butters. They are also wrapped in biodegradable plastic.
- The custom LOHN candles are made with clean scents, an organic coconut and soy wax blend, a non-toxic cotton core wick and recyclable packaging. Every candle is vegan, paraben free, phthalate free, cruelty free & non-toxic.
- All the scrunchies are handmade in Toronto with locally sourced fabrics.
- All the succulents are grown in Toronto and delivered in boxes that can be recycled.
- The pom pom garlands are all made with 100% wool sourced fair trade from Nepal and handmade in Calgary. The pillow boxes holding the garlands are recyclable or reusable.
- The Squish gummies are vegan and their packaging can also be recycled.
